As I look out the window, I see the seasons changing once again, and it reminds me of how our lives are in a constant state of change as well.
Change is a necessary part of our lives, just as it is in nature. As the leaves fall to the ground and the flowers stop blooming, we don’t mourn for the trees and plants, because we know, that after a short slumber, there will be a rebirth when spring arrives. And, so it should be with us, when we experience sad or difficult times.
Oftentimes when we are in the midst of a change, we can become anxious and fearful of the unknown paths that lie ahead. At these times we should reflect on the many challenges we’ve already overcome and remind ourselves of how with each rough patch along our life journey, we’ve become stronger, wiser and more equipped to cope with the future. Surround yourself with those who enrich your soul with positive energy through their words and actions. Engage in activities that benefit others, to keep things in proper perspective.
Every single person has challenging times, regardless of how much money they have, what kind of car they drive and what state of health their body is in. The difference between those who appear to be happy & in control and those who are sad & troubled has nothing to do with what life has dealt to them…it has everything to do with how they’ve decided to react to it.
As we watch the seasons change and anticipate the rebirth that spring will ultimately provide, approach life’s challenges with the same level of anticipation, knowing that there are always new and exciting adventures that come from the twists and turns that life throws at us. Anticipate the rainbow that appears at the end of the storm. Set your sights on a positive outcome, in all situations, and you will manifest a happy life for yourself and those around you.
